"EXCITABLE" OUT NOW!
John Juárez López (Born December 11th, 2009) is a Spanish musician, songwriter and poet. John is best known as a solo singer-songwriter and member of the hard rock group The Bruders, joining on June 21st, 2026.
Ever since he was a toddler, he showed interest in music and tried to learn guitar at the age of 6, unsuccessfully. At the age of 9, he watched the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018) and decided he wanted to start playing bass. Ever since then, he went on to discover The Beatles, and that was the event that made him decide music was his journey. The second turning point came when he discovered Bob Dylan, which took him into the songwriting path and becoming a singer-songwriter himself, like Bob. It was right after that, he started performing live at open mics locally and writing his own songs. Albums like "Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles and "Harvest" by Neil Young are considered his biggest influences, amongst hundreds of other albums.
In 2026, Juarez joined The Bruders following his collaboration on the song "Ava" and "Ava - Unplugged", from their album, Excitable
Since 2024, John has written a wide variety of songs, which he has been compiling for his upcoming album, "Better Alone". Amongst those songs are: "Annabeth", "Spirals", "You Can't Have It", and many more. He has performed live locally several times, opening for renowned Spanish artists like JJ Fuentes and joining him onstage on multiple occasions. He is one of the artists in the lineup for International Beatleweek 2026, performing in August as a solo acoustic artist as part of the 60th Anniversary of Lennon's stay in Almería, his hometown. He often performs solo gigs in his home city, playing both his original music and covers by his favourite artists.

Influences
Guitar Influences
John's primary guitar influence is notoriously Eric Clapton. He has noted the album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" as a turning point in his guitar journey, as well as his work with Cream and Blind Faith. Other of his influences include Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, Keith Richards, Rory Gallagher, etc.
Writing Influences
John has always noted a primary writing influence: Bob Dylan. He has always claimed that Dylan's music vastly changed the way in which he sees songwriting, leading him down the more poetic and surrealistic side of songwriting. Other of his big songwriting influences include Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, John Lennon, Nick Drake, Joaquin Sabina, and, most recently, Cameron Winter, from the band Geese.
Vocal Influences
John's vocal influences derive heavily from his songwriting ones.
